Flavoured Agrumato EVOO

Pendleton Agrumato Extra Virgin Olive Oils use the traditional method of cold pressing fresh citrus fruit and premium olives together. Lemon Agrumato is a natural, zesty flavour sensation perfect for barbecuing fish, chicken, on salads or for use in a vinaigrette. Lime Agrumato is perfect for salads, Thai cooking and barbecued seafood. Use Blood Orange Agrumato for basting game, poultry and fish, on salads, or in a vinaigrette.

 

Flavoured Blended EVOO

Pendleton Blended Extra Virgin Olive Oils are created by blending the finest natural ingredients with our Limestone Coast EVOO. Garlic blended EVOO is ideal for drizzling over pizza, on fresh bread with chopped parsley or in mashed potatoes. Basil blended EVOO is perfect for pesto, pasta, bruschetta or enhancing the taste of any Mediterranean dish. Chilli blended EVOO is a natural flavour sensation ideal in Asian dishes including Szechuan noodles, stir frys and dressings.

 

Vinegars: Chardonnay & Merlot

Selecting grapes from Australia’s best wine regions, Pendleton has created full bodied, Spanish style vinegars exhibiting unique agridulce (bittersweet) taste. Chardonnay Vinegar is perfect on salads, in a vinaigrette or seafood marinade. merlot Vinegar is perfect as a seasoning, vinaigrette or deglaze for sauce.

 

Table Olives

Pendleton Fine Foods use only the finest Australian olives for our table selection and all olives are brined in the traditional method. Our award winning Kalamata Olives deliver a firm and fruity flavour. A perfect complement to a salad or meal. The large fleshy green Sevillanos are firm and flavoursome, ideal for nibbles, salads or meal accompaniment. Wild olives are a unique, small fleshy olive and are picked early, giving an amazing flavour. Perfect for meal decoration and salads. Mixing our Wild Olives, Green Olives and Kalamata Olives we have created a visually appealing and tasty nibble or salad accompaniment.

 

Dukkah

Depicting the heady aromas from the Middle East, our handcrafted Dukkahs are created by freshly roasting nuts and dry roasting spices to produce an aromatic mix. Serve with Pendleton Extra Virgin Olive Oils and a quality bread to enhance the flavour experience. Use our Dukkahs to coat fresh fish or chicken and shallow fry or barbecue in Pendleton EVOO.

 

Food Service

At Pendleton we offer a large product range to the food service sector. In a short period of time we have established ourselves as premium service providers in the restaurant and catering industry right across Australia.

Our EVOOs are multi award winning - with our Picual winner "Champion Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil" at the Sydney Royal Fine Food show.

We provide three distinct styles - delicate, medium and robust which provide a full spectrum for those who prefer a specific intensity in their EVOO. We have developed the Restaurant Blend which provides value for money and consistency in terms of taste and aroma profile year on year.

In addition to our Chardonnay Vinegar, our Merlot Vinegar is proving to extremely popular as it is also made in the agridulce 'bittersweet' style and offers a great alternative to other more expensive products on the market.

We also produce a 20 litre cask of Canola which is 100% GM free Australian RBD Canola, and a Canola 95% / EVOO 5% blend in 20 litre drum.

Size ranges for the EVOO include drums (5, 10,& 20 litres). For olives we offer 2kg and 7kg drained weight, vinegar in 5 litre drums and dukkahs in a 750g pale. By negotiation we can provide alternative sizes or bulk orders.

In association with other quality olive producers in the area, a crushing mill was established to process up to 2 million litres per annum of premium extra virgin olive oil, ensuring all stages from “farm gate to plate” could be carefully monitored by Grant Wylie to ensure optimum quality and taste.

Having developed Australia's best Extra Virgin Olive Oil, the Wylie family expanded by developing specialty wine vinegars (agridulci), dukkahs and distinctive table olives.

Story

Pendleton Olive Groves are located near Keith in the Limestone Coast region of South-East South Australia. Olive trees were first planted in the early 1880's and many of the original trees survive today.

For four generations since 1938 the Wylie Family has farmed the area around Keith, located in the upper South-East of South Australia. Recognising the potential of the land to produce premier extra virgin olive oil, the grandson of the founder, Grant Wylie, established Pendleton olive groves in 1995. Pendleton olive groves consists of over 25,000 olive trees producing premier extra virgin olive oil which has been winning National and State awards since 2002.
